Blackrock Warsaber was awarded through the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct viewing promotion in November–December 2024.

Blackrock Warsaber stands out because it has the kind of aggressive, armored cat look that collectors tend to remember. It is not flashy in the neon sense, but it has a heavy Horde-flavored battlefield feel that still looks good years later, especially if you like mounts with a darker, war-torn silhouette.

Acquisition and availability checked on October 22, 2026. Retail is the default unless a different game version or region is specified.

Quick Answer

Blackrock Warsaber was awarded through the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct viewing promotion in November–December 2024. That claim window is over.

Mount Overview

Availability	Original acquisition retired; existing owners retain access

Collectors often value mounts like this because they remain recognizable even after newer expansions add more elaborate designs. A strong silhouette and a coherent theme go a long way.

How to Get Blackrock Warsaber

Blackrock Warsaber was awarded through the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct viewing promotion in November–December 2024. That claim window is over. Historical Twitch or TikTok viewing instructions are not a current unlock route, and ordinary Blackrock or Darkshore farming does not award it.

What the Original Requirement Means Now

Historical instructions explain ownership; they do not renew an expired reward window. A retired season, discontinued challenge system, or ended event belongs to its own reward window. Completing present-day content with a similar name does not reproduce the historical entitlement. Existing ownership and a new player’s ability to earn the appearance are separate questions.

The existence of a catch-up currency elsewhere does not establish an exchange here. A token that buys legacy items from one system does not automatically buy every removed mount. Any surviving auction, redemption, or previously earned eligibility exception has to be documented for this exact appearance. If no such exception is identified above, there is no additional farming instruction to follow.

The question after retirement is availability, rather than how hard the old content feels. The obstacle is no longer whether your current character can clear the old content. It is whether a reward opportunity still exists. A stronger character, a larger group, or a faster route cannot recreate a closed season or event. That is why old difficulty recommendations are poor guidance for a fresh collector seeking this exact mount.

Choose a useful next target

Use the old entry for collection context, then choose a live target from the alternatives. A similar model can satisfy a color or transmog goal without carrying the original reward’s history. Choose the alternative because you like its actual appearance and can complete its own route, rather than treating it as a promised conversion into the retired mount.

If the reward was already earned, inspect the record of that particular qualification. Recovering an earned unlock is a different issue from qualifying after the reward window ended. The former may be worth checking through your account records; the latter requires a new official acquisition route, not another run through the old instance.

A new offer, if one is introduced, must be judged by its actual reward rules. It might use a different appearance, currency, game version, or eligibility rule, and none should be promised in advance. Until a replacement route is actually established, use the original requirement as historical context and keep active farming time for mounts with live reward opportunities.

Location

No currently open acquisition location was established for this exact appearance. Historical and planned locations are described above where applicable.

The Most Efficient Collection Plan

• There is no productive repeatable farm for a reward whose documented acquisition window is closed or whose appearance has not been released.
• Keep historical requirements separate from a live offer. A future announcement may introduce different eligibility, pricing, or redemption rules.
• Choose a released alternative if you want a usable mount now; owning a similar model does not unlock this exact appearance.

Is This Mount Still Obtainable?

The original acquisition is retired. Existing owners retain their reward. Any surviving eligibility exception is described above; the old reward window cannot be earned again.

Related Looks and Practical Alternatives

Ivory Hawkstrider

Ivory Hawkstrider is a separate collection target to compare for theme and effort; it should not be confused with another color automatically included in this reward.

Earn a Legion falcosaur mount, then speak to Aviana in Highmountain while using the qualifying mount to unlock Talon’s Vengeance. Use Ivory Talon in the relevant PvP areas to earn its reputation tokens. At Honored, Ivory Feather expands the eligible PvP activities. Reach Exalted and buy Ivory Hawkstrider from Trinket for 10,000 gold.

This favors a collector who enjoys visible progression toward an unlock, followed by the specific milestone claim or merchant purchase.

Vicious Kaldorei Warsaber

Vicious Kaldorei Warsaber is a separate collection target to compare for theme and effort; it should not be confused with another color automatically included in this reward.

Earn the current season’s rated-PvP mount, then keep filling the additional rated-PvP reward bar to receive a Vicious Saddle. Exchange one saddle for Vicious Kaldorei Warsaber at the faction’s Combatant Mount Quartermaster: Necrolord Sipe in Stormwind’s Old Town for Alliance, or Deathguard Netharian in Orgrimmar’s Valley of Strength for Horde. This buys the older appearance; an expired season’s progress bar cannot be completed today. Use the rating eligibility shown in the current PvP interface rather than an old season’s 1,400-rating instructions.

Use the currency and exchange described for this alternative. A token from an unrelated reward system is not interchangeable.

Vicious White Warsaber

Consider Vicious White Warsaber as an independent goal. Its documented acquisition makes the time commitment easier to assess than a recommendation based only on a preview.

Striped Frostsaber

Another option is Striped Frostsaber. The comparison is useful for choosing a collection project, rather than implying that the two mounts share an unlock.

Purchase Striped Frostsaber from Lelanai in Cenarion Enclave, Darnassus. Requires Night Elf character, or Exalted with Darnassus . Cost: 1 Gold Bring the listed payment after completing the stated reputation or character requirement. The purchase awards the mount directly.

This favors a collector who enjoys visible progression toward an unlock, followed by the specific milestone claim or merchant purchase.
