For Argent Charger, appearance is a strong part of the appeal. The silver armor, clean paladin-style silhouette, and Argent Tournament branding make it stand out even among other white and armored horses.

Quick Answer

Unlock Dame Evniki Kapsalis’s Argent Tournament stock by earning Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance or Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde. The account achievement may have been earned by another character.

Mount Overview

The Argent Charger is an armored warhorse with a polished silver-and-white color scheme that fits the Argent Tournament aesthetic perfectly.

It is a structured progression mount, which makes it appealing to players who prefer guaranteed collection goals over pure RNG.

How to Get Argent Charger

1. Unlock Dame Evniki Kapsalis’s Argent Tournament stock by earning Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance or Exalted Argent Champion of the Horde.
2. The account achievement may have been earned by another character.
3. Bring a paladin to the Argent Pavilion in Icecrown and buy Argent Charger for 100 Champion’s Seals.
4. Obtain the seals on the purchasing character and meet the Argent Crusade reputation requirement; this mount is usable by paladins of either faction.

Separate reputation progress from the final reward

First pin down the particular faction, Renown track, or friendship milestone this reward uses. Similar names and shared expansion themes are not interchangeable. Raising a nearby faction does not advance this unlock unless the acquisition details explicitly say so. Put the intended track on your checklist and treat the required rank as a defined milestone rather than a general instruction to finish the expansion.

The final action depends on whether this is a milestone reward or a rank-gated purchase. A Renown reward and a vendor unlock can require different final actions. The former may need a reward claim or follow-up quest; the latter still needs the listed currency at the merchant. Reaching the rank is not the end of the route when a separate payment or hand-in remains.

Keep the mount’s payment available while working toward the merchant requirement. Reputation activities can also offer other cosmetics, equipment, and optional purchases, so spending the same currency as soon as it arrives can delay the mount even after the required rank is reached. Track access and payment independently. That makes the remaining work obvious when one part is complete before the other.

Check the right unlock when progress stalls

When the reward is absent, inspect the exact track and any required follow-up first. Check whether you reached the required rank on the appropriate character and whether the relevant merchant or reward giver is the one listed here. Do not add an unrelated reputation grind simply because it belongs to the same zone or uses a similar visual theme.

Reputation, friendship, Renown, and Covenant features do not all share one set of rules. In particular, rules for using an earned appearance can differ from rules for acquiring it. Keep any cross-character or cross-Covenant exception described above separate from the original feature unlock. A collection-wide cosmetic permission is not proof that a different character can skip the acquisition prerequisites.

Your next useful objective is one that moves this particular unlock forward. If a daily, weekly, or feature-specific restriction is documented, plan the next useful session after that restriction resets. Repeating unrelated objectives will not replace it. Once access and payment are both ready, make the final claim promptly and confirm the exact mount rather than continuing the grind out of habit.

Requirements

• Paladins only
• Requires Exalted with Argent Crusade

Farming Tips

• Keep the mount payment separate from any currency you spend unlocking access. Check the exact item name in the merchant window before buying.
• Use the required faction or Renown track. Reputation with a similarly themed faction is not interchangeable.
• Plan around the specific gating described above. A daily quest sequence, weekly reward, or event window cannot be shortened by farming unrelated creatures.

Is This Mount Still Obtainable?

Yes, through the specific released source described above. Event, vendor, and account-eligibility conditions still apply.

Is This a Good Collection Priority?

Still, it remains a respectable addition to a mount tab, especially for players building a paladin or Silver Covenant-style collection.

Compare the Look and the Commitment

Before choosing between Argent Charger and the alternatives, decide which part of the collection goal is non-negotiable. You might want the exact color, the broader model family, or simply a mount that fits a particular character. Those are different targets. An alternative is useful only when it satisfies the part you actually care about; collecting a related appearance should not be presented as completing this exact entry.

Two concrete comparison points are Argent Warhorse and Great Red Elekk. Their routes below let you judge the work independently of the visual theme. Compare the access requirement, final reward action, and any timing restriction that is actually documented. Do not assign them the same difficulty merely because they sit next to each other in a collection list. One can be a suitable short-term project while another remains a longer-term preference.

When comparing previews, look at the whole model rather than a cropped icon. The silhouette, saddle or armor treatment, and color balance can matter more beside your character than they do in isolation. Consider the viewing angle you normally use and the outfit you would pair with the mount. This is a visual preference check, not evidence that any particular preview has a live acquisition route.

For an active route, choose a sensible next milestone from the acquisition steps and stop when that milestone is complete. Keep Argent Charger as the target if the exact look matters most; choose an alternative when its own appearance and requirements better fit the time you want to spend. Either choice should produce a clear collection objective, rather than an indefinite list of unrelated activities.

Similar Mounts Worth Comparing

Argent Warhorse

Consider Argent Warhorse as an independent goal. Its documented acquisition makes the time commitment easier to assess than a recommendation based only on a preview.

Purchase Argent Warhorse from Dame Evniki Kapsalis in Argent Pavilion of the Argent Tournament, Icecrown. Requires Exalted with Argent Crusade . Cost: 100 Champion’s Seals Bring the listed payment after completing the stated reputation or character requirement. The purchase awards the mount directly.

This favors a collector who enjoys visible progression toward an unlock, followed by the specific milestone claim or merchant purchase.

Great Red Elekk

Consider Great Red Elekk as an independent goal. Its documented acquisition makes the time commitment easier to assess than a recommendation based only on a preview.

Purchase Great Red Elekk from Irisee in Silver Covenant Pavilion of the Argent Tournament, Icecrown. Cost: 5 Champion’s Seals 500 Gold Bring the listed payment after completing the stated reputation or character requirement. The purchase awards the mount directly.

The appeal of this alternative is a defined purchase: meet its stated access conditions and set aside the actual payment.

White Riding Talbuk

White Riding Talbuk is a separate collection target to compare for theme and effort; it should not be confused with another color automatically included in this reward.

Purchase White Riding Talbuk from Alliance Trader Narasu in Telaar, Nagrand. Requires Exalted with Kurenai . Horde Provisioner Nasela in Garadar, Nagrand. Requires Exalted with The Mag’har . Cost: 56 Gold (70 Gold base) Bring the listed payment after completing the stated reputation or character requirement. The purchase awards the mount directly.

This favors a collector who enjoys visible progression toward an unlock, followed by the specific milestone claim or merchant purchase.

Charger

Another option is Charger. The comparison is useful for choosing a collection project, rather than implying that the two mounts share an unlock.

Use an eligible Alliance paladin and obtain Charger through the class’s mount training or learned class spells. This is the standard paladin class mount, not the Legion order-hall Highlord’s Charger quest reward. Its historical level-40 quest chain describes an older version of the game and should not be treated as the current Retail acquisition route.

This alternative rewards following its own quest or feature sequence. Keep that progress separate rather than assuming shared credit.

Ghastly Charger

Ghastly Charger is a separate collection target to compare for theme and effort; it should not be confused with another color automatically included in this reward.
