Blue paint and industrial hardware give the Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk 2 a maritime goblin personality. It is a good ground companion for a collector who likes machinery that looks employed rather than polished for a parade.

The requirement is Blackwater Cartel reputation in Undermine. Booty Bay reputation and the broader Cartels of Undermine Renown track are different bars, even when the organizations share characters and history.

Quick Answer

Reach Exalted with the Blackwater Cartel in Undermine, then buy Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk 2 from Boatswain Hardee at the Port Authority, around 63.4, 16.8, for 8,125 Resonance Crystals. The mount remains obtainable in Retail and is a ground-only shredder usable by both factions. It is a direct purchase, not the Blackwater Paragon chest's hyena reward.

Mount Overview

This blue goblin shredder was introduced with The War Within's Undermine content. Its mechanical arms, heavy frame, and cartel styling make it a strong fit for engineers and maritime-themed goblin outfits.

It does not require Engineering to learn or ride. The machinery is an appearance, not a profession vehicle that becomes unusable when you change professions.

Its broad shape also does not imply flight. Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk 2 is a ground mount, distinct from the flying rockets and helicopters sold elsewhere in Undermine.

How to Get Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk 2

Establish Undermine access

Follow the Undermine introduction from the appropriate Dornogal campaign breadcrumb through the Ringing Deeps transport route. Complete the arrival quests and establish the Incontinental Hotel as your activity hub.

Continue far enough to unlock the city's normal world quests and cartel work. Merely entering the city without completing its introduction can leave important weekly activities unavailable.

The campaign and travel access can differ on a previously established Warband. Use available skips where offered, but confirm that the buyer can reach the Port Authority merchant normally.

Select Blackwater for Contract Work

At the Incontinental Hotel, speak to Kaydee Racketring for Contract Work and choose the Blackwater Cartel when this is the faction you want to advance.

The cartel contract is a weekly Warband choice. You cannot use four alts to make four independent choices during the same week.

This selection focuses the relevant cartel assignments and reputation rewards. It is not a permanent faction allegiance, and you can select another cartel in a later week.

Earn Blackwater Exalted standing

Complete the available Blackwater-associated world quests, assignments, and cartel activities. Check each reward's faction rather than assuming that every Undermine reputation gain belongs to Blackwater.

The main Cartels of Undermine Renown track is separate. Raising that track opens its own rewards, but it does not replace Exalted with the individual Blackwater Cartel for Hardee's shredder.

One-time campaign and side quests can contribute useful progress. Recurring weekly work then provides the continuing route; repeating unrelated low-level pirate kills for Booty Bay is not the modern Undermine reputation method.

Review your actual standing after claiming rewards. Reputation sharing prevents a need to grind the same bar independently on every alt, but it also means an already claimed Warband reward is not multiplied simply by repeating it on another character.

Reserve 8,125 Resonance Crystals

Collect Resonance Crystals through eligible Khaz Algar quests, world activities, Renown rewards, and other sources that actually list the currency. The crystals are used for many mounts, so keep the shredder's budget separate from your cosmetic shopping.

Current Warband currency transfers let you consolidate crystals on the buyer. Move the required amount before opening Hardee's purchase window; the merchant does not automatically charge all characters' balances.

This mount uses crystals, not Miscellaneous Mechanica. Those parts buy a different set of mechanical appearances from Skedgit Cinderbangs.

Visit Boatswain Hardee

Head to the Port Authority in Blackwater Marina in northern Undermine. Boatswain Hardee is around 63.4, 16.8 on the Undermine map.

Open the inventory at Exalted, choose Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk 2, and pay 8,125 Resonance Crystals. Learn the mount item and confirm the blue shredder in your journal.

No Paragon chest is required after reaching Exalted. The Blackwater Trove can provide another mount, but this direct purchase is not dependent on opening one.

Location and Requirements

• Expansion: The War Within.
• Zone: Undermine, Blackwater Marina.
• Vendor: Boatswain Hardee, Port Authority, approximately 63.4, 16.8.
• Standing: Exalted with Undermine's Blackwater Cartel.
• Cost: 8,125 Resonance Crystals.

Both Alliance and Horde can complete the cartel route. Normal riding access applies, with no Engineering or race requirement.

Farming Tips

Choose the weekly cartel deliberately before spending a session on world activities. If Blackwater is the immediate goal, taking another contract can make that week's targeted progress less useful.

Combine faction work with crystal rewards where possible. Reaching Exalted is only half the purchase plan if the buyer has spent the entire currency balance on pets and vehicle customization.

After Exalted, stop and buy the guaranteed shredder before deciding whether you want to continue into Blackwater Paragon rewards. The hyena chance is a separate project, not a final hidden requirement for Mk 2.

Is This Mount Still Obtainable?

Yes. It remains a permanent reputation-vendor reward in Retail. The weekly contract system affects efficient progression but does not turn the mount into a limited seasonal offer.

Is It Worth Farming?

For a mechanical collection, the fixed endpoint is appealing. The main cost is committing enough cartel activity to reach Exalted, with no final mount drop roll once the bar and crystals are ready.

Collector Notes

The blue finish makes it easy to distinguish from the darker Darkfuse machine. It looks particularly convincing beside a fishing, dockworker, or ship-maintenance outfit.
