Pale panels make Swift White Mechanostrider a useful alternative to the brighter gnomish machines. The long-legged frame still has the unmistakable mechanical-bird silhouette, but the lighter finish can sit comfortably beside silver armor or a restrained workshop outfit.

It is also a finished vendor mount. No schematic, Engineering specialization, or collection of spare parts is involved in learning this particular machine.

Quick Answer

Buy Swift White Mechanostrider, item 18773, from Milli Featherwhistle at Steelgrill's Depot, Dun Morogh. Its base price is 10 gold, normally 8 with an Exalted discount. Gnomes have racial access; other eligible Alliance buyers need Gnomeregan Exalted. Use the item to learn this Alliance ground mount. It remains obtainable in Retail.

Mount Overview

The Swift White version is one of the three Swift mechanostrider appearances in Milli's regular stock. Its more equipped presentation is separate from her ordinary mechanical birds.

Do not confuse this current mount with historical retired white mechanostrider items. Similar color words do not make those old exchange mounts interchangeable with item 18773. This specific Swift White collectible has a normal vendor source.

The machine provides personal ground travel. Its mechanical design does not grant flight, repairs, a passenger seat, or a special speed bonus beyond the rider's ordinary applicable riding rules.

How to Buy It

First check whether a gnome on your account can already reach the shop. That character can use racial purchase access without grinding Gnomeregan to Exalted beforehand.

An Alliance character already Exalted with Gnomeregan is another convenient buyer. Choose existing access over rebuilding the same eligibility on a new character solely for this mount.

Travel to Steelgrill's Depot near Kharanos in Dun Morogh. Milli stands beside the mechanical riding birds around 56.2, 46.2 on the Retail zone map.

Open her merchant stock, choose Swift White Mechanostrider, and check that the item is uncollected. Pay the displayed gold price, buy the item, and use it from your bags. Verify Swift White Mechanostrider in the journal if other pale machines are already learned.

No additional quest completes the assembly. Once used, the item unlocks the whole mount, and it does not need to remain equipped or stored for continued access.

Where to Go

The destination is an outdoor depot in Dun Morogh, Eastern Kingdoms. From Ironforge, leave into the snowy zone and follow the roads toward Kharanos and Steelgrill's Depot.

You are not entering the Gnomeregan dungeon. Gnomeregan is the reputation name used by the shop, while Milli's actual location is outside near the mechanical-mount pens.

Classic waypoints can differ from Retail coordinates. Use the depot landmark and merchant name together instead of assuming an old map's numbers describe the current version of the zone.

Reputation Access on a Non-Gnome

Master Tinker Trini sells the Gnomeregan Tabard near the Ironforge flightmaster in the Great Forge. Make sure you buy the gnomish tabard rather than the neighboring Ironforge one; they advance different factions.

Equip the real tabard while clearing eligible legacy dungeons. A matching transmog appearance has no championing effect. Check reputation messages after the first eligible enemies to confirm Gnomeregan gains.

Normal Botanica in Netherstorm, Outland, is a practical repeatable choice. Reach the floating entrance near Tempest Keep, set Normal difficulty, and clear the enemies and bosses. After the final boss, exit, leave the instance, and reset through your character portrait menu.

Repeat as required within the game's instance-entry limit. Heroic has a daily lockout, so repeated resets do not turn it into the same farming route. Current dungeon queues are not guaranteed to support the old tabard system either.

Return to Milli at Exalted. The faction bar grants the alternate purchase access, not an automatic mail reward containing the mechanostrider.

Requirements and Payment

You need Alliance eligibility, gnome racial access or Gnomeregan Exalted, the gold payment, and normal ground-riding eligibility. There is no profession, class, PvP rating, or tournament championship requirement.

The base price is 10 gold. An ordinary 20-percent Exalted discount brings it to 8 gold. A gnome can already shop without that standing, so the discount should not be described as a compulsory reputation gate for every buyer.

You do not need an ordinary mechanostrider first. Swift White is a separate learning item, not an upgrade kit applied to an existing mount.

Efficient Shopping Tips

Check the exact learned marker before paying. A white-looking machine in the journal may be a different mount, while another copy of this item will not increase collection totals twice.

If you are finishing Milli's stock, inspect the other Swift colors during the same visit. Swift Green and Swift Yellow have independent entries. Her ordinary colors also count separately and cost less at base price.

Avoid spending time on Engineering because the model looks technical. The mount's mechanical appearance is cosmetic; the relevant access system is race or reputation.

If the vendor refuses service, verify Gnomeregan standing on the actual buyer. Having unrelated city reputations or a gnomish-looking transmog set does not satisfy Milli's condition.

Is It Still Obtainable?

Yes. Current Swift White Mechanostrider remains a permanent Retail racial-vendor reward. It has no holiday rotation or weekly loot lockout and should not be grouped with discontinued original epic mounts merely because both are white machines.

Rarity and Prestige

This is an appearance choice rather than an exclusive trophy. Its pale finish works well for collectors who want gnomish machinery without the brightest colors, and the guaranteed vendor endpoint makes it a useful break from uncertain rare-drop farms.
